Prevent Access to the Drives of Computer without using any Passwords

 Hello friends, Today I am going to tell you that how you can prevent access to the drives of Computer. In this tutorial you will know that how can you protect your computer drives for unauthorized access without using the passwords. Now just follows these simple steps :

  • Open "Run" in your system and type "gpedit.msc" this will open the new Local Group Policy Editor.


  • Now in the Local Group Policy Editor choose "User Configuration".


  • Then select the "Administrative Templates" and then double click on  "All Settings".

  • Now in the Settings just find the following policy "prevent access to the drives from  my computer".



  • Now, select the "Enabled" and select the drives you want to protect as shown in the figure. This process does not need any system reboot or log off.

    1. This trick is 100% working..... if you set the access using this trick in your system...then no one will access those drives. And for making the drives again accessible you just have to disable the option. ( administrator account is needed for doing this).
